ADVANCE
SCREENING TOUR
It
was an amazing tour of 12 showings in
9 cities in 6 days, beginning in Halifax
and ending in Vancouver. There were
9,000 viewers, and an overwhelming sense
that this film is God's instrument for
both reviving the church and reaching
out to those in need of His saving grace.
The most frequently heard comments were
of the amazement of what Christ suffered
for us. "He did it for me."
"My life will never be the same.
I'll never take communion again without
seeing those images."
"I heard and knew from the Bible
that Jesus died for me, but I never
had the whole picture until now."
"The most life-impacting movie
I have ever seen." I concur with
these comments, my life is forever stamped
by this film.
WHAT
HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED
By
God's grace, we have accomplished a
lot in eight weeks. The Body of Christ
is embracing this film and the opportunity
it brings to each one of us. I have
not seen such a wide range of churches
and organizations working together for
the same outreach in a long time.
Thousands of promotional pieces are
out across the country. People are talking
it up in their circles of influence.
Anticipation is building. We are all
expecting God to use this film in a
powerful way. The seeker site www.TheLife.com
is up and running. Though by no means
complete, it does have the basic components.
Just last week someone indicated their
decision to trust Christ as Savior and
Lord in response to the evangelistic
articles.
The
companion site for the churches, www.ShareTheLife.com
is almost complete. There you will find
information on materials, media, mentoring,
prayer, online discussions and training
events. Next week there will also be
information on theatres showing the
film.
WHAT
STILL NEEDS TO BE DONE
- The
promotional DVD is being duplicated
and must go out to the churches in
the first week of February. Pray that
there will be no further hold-ups
and that churches will use it for
promotion.
- We
need thousands of you to sign up
to be mentors, to commit to pray,
and to continue to talk about the
film with your friends, neighbors
and co-workers.

- Please
pray for the fund raising effort that
helps to make this all possible. Expenses
are exceeding income right now since
we have had to commit to various elements
of the strategy. But we are trusting
that the Body of Christ will respond
financially.
- We
need churches and evangelists to order
evangelism booklets and web cards
online so they can be equipped to
help seekers get connected to the
gospel. More

this Passion strategy and encourage
every believer to get involved in
what God is doing through this film
in some way, keeping in mind that
its theatrical release is just four
weeks away!
